HAPPY B-DAY LUKE!!!

I believe my brother Luke is the big 3-0 today! I'm thankful for my fun, lively, creative, smart, athletic, handsome, classy, sharp brother! Thanks for putting up with all my phone calls when I need some brotherly advice! Love you tons and hope you have a great day!

Beauty Tip of the Day

Today we had another makeup class and the focus was on Lips. Something new learned was when you brush your teeth at night, brush your lips to exfoliate them. It will result in much softer Lips:)
I haven't tried it out yet but am excited to see if it really works!

Sunday Spaghetti...

Alan and I had some great cousin bonding time while we made our healthy Whole Wheat Spaghetti. Alan mastered the Spaghetti noodles while I made the homemade sauce. Alan was needing some help draining the noodles, so we put a lid over the pot and tried draining it that way. I accidentally moved the lid and all of our noodles went right down the disposal!....Oops. Luckily we didn't use all the noodles in the first go around so we had extra!

By the time we were done eating, our noses were running and stomach's on fire. I have had a jalapeno kick lately and put them in everything! I figure its a good way to add a little spice to my life...:)

Day at the Salon..

Last Saturday was a busy day at Paul Mitchell for me, Dad, Mom, Panda and Noa all got haircuts.

Family Weekend!

Another way fun weekend with the family. Nate,Panda, Noa and Jack all flew in from PA, Dad and Mom drove down from the Big Sky. Had so much fun hanging with everyone. Last Friday we met at Ethan and Jills home in Heber and had some delicious homemade soup. Was great seeing all my Uncles and Aunts for a bit too!

Sunday, Dad, Mom, Panda, Nate, Noa, Jack and I toured Temple Square. The kiddies had fun looking at all the exhibits. Still my favorite part of the day was watching Nate and Panda chase Jack around, keeping him from running through all the displays :)

WOO HOO!

FINALLY met the requirements for our Vegas Caper trip in February! This is such a relief to be done selling :) I am so excited to have the opportunity to go. We will be staying at the Mandalay Bay Hotel on The Strip! Looks like I have a month to shop for the perfect dress to wear to our Hollywood party:) (Good thing your coming to Utah this weekend MOM!!! ;) Thanks everyone who have helped support me in going!

MaKeUp ClAsS!~

Today for class we had the professional makeup artist for Paul Mitchell come teach us makeup techniques! Pictures of mine and Sara's eyes, all done up with creams, greens, pinks and lots of black eyeliner! Probably something I wouldn't do regularly, but enjoyed playing around with the colors!



This class has made me set a new goal: working for a MAC makeup counter somewhere in the near future!:)

Fireside

Had the opportunity last night to go listen the prophet speak at the Marriot Center. Went with some of my Paul Mitchell buddies. We arrived a little earlier than an hour, thinking we could get OK seats, but oh no, one row from the very top! We still had fun! The spirit was so strong and I loved the message the prophet gave. Great way to start out my week!!



We were a little bored waiting that hour for the fireside to start :) A few of the BYU hockey players were sitting behind us, telling us all about their game they won the previous night. Jordan (middle) invited us later over to her parents house for Sunday dinner. Was SOOOO nice to have real food for dinner!

The Five Cousins all made it home for Christmas this year!! Doesn't happen often that we are all together anymore. Thankful for my beautiful cousins and all the fun times I have had with them throughout the years. I must say Cousins do Rule!!!!

Aunt Jill recommended this book to me a couple weeks ago and I finally got around to reading it. By far my new favorite book and recommend it to everyone! You'll look at your life/challenges in a whole new perspective. Happy Reading!!!!

Back In Black!

Today was the first day back in black to school. Thought it was going to be hard getting back into the swing of things but i did alright. Feel WAY more motivated than when I came back from Thanksgiving break, even sold a bag deal to a client!
Provo woke up to a surprise this morning...6-7 inches of snow! It continued snowing all day. I love listening to girls in school, who have never lived in or near snow, rant and rave for a snow day! All this snow has got me excited to hit the slopes!

Thanks family for the best Christmas vacation! Love you all so much, can't wait to see you in two weeks! Hopefully you'll all be rested up for more party times, hair cuts and scalp treatments!
P.S. Dad and Weston it has taken me seven trips to bring all my luggage up to my apartment, sure wish you guys were here to carry it for me ;)



Haeli- Had so much fun getting to know you more this break! Thanks for all the fun jewelry you gave me:) Definitely will help spice up some black outfits for school. Going to miss listening to your beautiful soprano voice! We will have to have another Biggest Loser marathon next visit!

Serving Up The Griz!

Packed up the Cherokee bright and early this morning to go watch Nubia and Mara play the Griz in Missoula. It took six hours of driving on ice and snow in temperatures ranging from -17 to -9 to get there... a little late. I felt bad for the girls, they lost, but we'll get them in Bozeman! Glad I got to watch them play one more time before heading back to Utah tomorrow :( trying to get psyched up for the ten hour drive :(

The past five months have felt like a never ending roller coaster ride. Bobby has been a great friend through it all. Everyone needs someone to talk to (like a brother). Feeling a little spontaneous one Sunday night, we decided to hike the Y. Halfway up we turned back due to Bobby getting a little frightened that a bear might attack.... ( I acted disappointed, when actually my legs felt like they were going to fall off from hiking in snowboots! SHHH no telling:)

A couple of my PMS girlfriends. . . that's Paul Mitchell School:) at the Provo PMS Caper kickoff (villan vs superhero) "Caper" is an annual national event held in big sin city, aka. . . Las Vegas. The big dogs of Paul Mitchell will be teaching hands on, lots of motivational speaking, Hollywood theme party and dance, etc. . . All I have to do to get there is sell 30 hair product bag deals (12 down, 18 more to go. Call me up if you're needing any hair products ;)

Playing a little "umbrella" at the talent show...this was my first time back performing publicly since moving to Utah. I was scaaared to death, almost didn't do it, but ended up winning! Won a $160 dollar straightener...WOO HOO!
