Cattle Drive 2010

The morning comes early on day of the cattle drive!
Our help consisted of Monte, Julie, Joanne,Cotton (our crew who flew in from Arizona), Terrena, Haeli, Emery, Tom and Sue Gollahon, Echo, Shiloh, Josey, Jarett, Jordan, Lyle, Jaxon, Weston, Nick, Dad, Mom and I.
Was a gorgeous day to escape up to the Little Snowies for a day of riding.

Monte and Julie Nevitt. Love them. Julie and Joanne came in to my shop to have their hair done. So fun to have girl time/talk.
Been too much fun having them here.

Weston and Prince. Weston still amazes me. He will get on any bucking horse or jump into a small pen of eight huge charlois bulls with no fear~ So brave.

Tom and Sue were such a great help. They are great riders and we couldn't of gathered the herd without them. They drove the two and a half hour drive from Fairfield to be here at 5:30 AM Saturday morning.
Haeli was a trooper. She jumped on captain and rode him the whole way up. I'd say pretty impressive for a seven month pregnant lady.
Two of my favorite animals on the ranch. Maggie our Jack Russell and Bubbles. Bubbles is the best cow horse ever. He really is my dads horse but I love riding him so much that I've taken him over:) Guess that happens when you're the baby girl of the family.
A year ago they were prepping for a wedding.... a year later they're prepping for a baby.
He's just full of so many romantic ideas...like this photo.
Lyle and his grandkids Jarett and Jordan. They were troopers. Long day in the sun but they did great!
PS Jill I am the one who opened the can of Diet Pepsi for Jordan...sorry:( He said he checked twice with his dad and that his mom lets him have DP.

This picture is how we all felt at the end of our 25+ mile roundup.
Today we can all barely walk because we're so sore. Back, shoulders, butt, abs, arms, knees. Hoping the soreness is gone soon!
Jaxon, Weston, Emery and my dad headed back up to the ranch this morning at 5:30 to finish trailing the cows that were left behind. I have no idea how they crawled out of bed this morning.
Joanne, Cotton, Julie and Monte drove to Billings early this morning to catch their flight back to Arizona (on Alligiant) Joanne called after church and informed us their flight had an emergency landing in Flagstaff because an engine had caught fire. They all exited the plane with emergency slides. They are so blessed to have landed safe and had nothing worse happen.
Thanks for everyone who came and rode to help our family out! See you in a year!

Swim Day

Jaxon, Haeli, Hagen my dad and I made the trek over to our old stomping grounds (Fairfield) Saturday morning. We were grateful to make it on time...Due to Big R speeding we had at 15 minute delay around Kibbie's Corner:) Somehow he talked himself out of a ticket.
Jaxon, Weston and I were invited to be a part of the Swim Day entertainment show Saturday afternoon. Swim day is a big event that happens once a year in FF. They raise money for the public pool to keep it up and running. This year it was combined with an all class reunion.
Lots and lots of people.
The boys have been haying non stop all week so we didn't have time to practice. Winged it but it went great! We sang Reasons Why by Nickelcreek which we've had lots of practice singing over the years so we were able to get away without practicing.
It was so great seeing all my old classmates/friends/family!

Can anyone guess where we ran through our song at???

Favorite picture of Jaxon!

Jaxon holds the new record for highest score at Pac-Man at DJ's Pizza.
I was very impressed with his skills. My adrenaline was pumping for him.
Not only does he hold the Pac-Man record but the High School 1600M Relay.
Man of many talents.

Good ol' Fairfield gym. The community put on a program for the all class reunion.
Bill and Spencer Pearson singing entire program = heaven.
I love hearing them sing. Very talented family!

Haeli's table art.
Hagen's table art.
Haeli's little 11 year old brother Hagen has been staying at the ranch for the past three weeks.

Fairfield at sunset!
Fairfield is the malting barley capital of the world, meaning they produce all the beer for the world. Everytime I see those big grain bins I feel at home.
Sunday we attended church in Fairfield. Was weird being back but good to see our church family. All the kids that were seniors when I was freshmen were are all either married or have kids or are pregnant. CRAZY!
We celebrated grandma LaDeanne's 80th birthday party after in Augusta.
Can't beat nice weather, food and family.

I love her and am so grateful she is my Grandma.
Grandma and her sisters.
So good to be reunited with our Augusta and Utah family.

21 Roses

Can't believe I'm 21! Time sure does fly.
I had the best day yesterday~
Busy day at work then came home and celebrated with girls night.

21 roses were delivered to the salon...someone loves me:)

Need I say more???

Our girls night consisted of pedicures, manicures and girl talk!

One of my clients little boy (5 yrs old) brought me in chocolate cake and pink nail polish he had bought for me. Sooo sweet! So Court, Haeli, Hayley and I rocked it out!
Courtney, Haeli, Hayley and I. (AND baby peach)
Thanks everyone for making my birthday special <3

Happy 4th!

Arielle and I planned a fourth of July social~
We made the food as colorful as possible and must say,
mission accomplished:)
Colter and Nubia made the trek over from Bozeman for the weekend. They're so pleasant to have around. My mom and I were talking how fun it is to watch them interact with each other. They both adore and are so kind to each other!
Host-es-with-the-most-est!

Today during church I felt baby peach(s?) kick! :)
Bon Appetite!
During home evening Uncle Lyle had everyone tell why they're thankful for this country. Made me really stop and think.
I'm thankful for all the people who served and fought for our freedom to make America what it is today.
Thankful that everyone has a fair chance to make something of themselves.
Finished the night off by watching fireworks~
Hope everyone had a great day of celebrating!
